   Fairview Elementary School is located in the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois a northwest suburb of Chicago.  Mount Prospect has an extensive school system and a strong community base.

NEW STUDENT INFORMATION: Welcome!

New student tours will take place Aug. 18 at 2:00 and Aug. 20 at 5:00 p.m.
New students and parents to Fairview are free to come for an informal walking tour with Principal Jordan!  No RSVP needed.

Save the date!  New student screenings will take place on August 10, 10:00-12:00, at Westbrook School due to roof construction at Fairview.  You will be notified with a specific testing time in August.  Students cannot be placed before screening occurs.

	Fairview Wins Blue Ribbon Award! Recently Fairview received an email from the U.S. Dept of Education indicating that Secretary Margaret Spellings had designated Fairview School as a 2008 No Child Left Behind – Blue Ribbon School. Fairview is one of 320 schools to receive this award in 2008 for helping students to achieve at very high levels. Over the past 26 years this distinction has honored more than 5,800 schools in the United States.
